Assembly Technician – Entry Level (Hydraulics & Mechanical Components)

We are looking for an Entry-Level Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you’ll work hands‑on with mechanical parts, sealing components, and precision tools to assemble aerospace hardware. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and a desire to learn and grow within a high‑performing manufacturing environment.

What You’ll DoPrepare and treat aluminum components using approved chemical processes with quality oversight.Inspect, clean, lubricate, and install O‑rings, seals, and related components following established work standards.Perform electrical bonding and grounding tasks as required.Install safety hardware such as cotter pins, lock wire, safety wire, rivets, and other retention devices.Apply general sealing, bonding, and torque-seal markings on assemblies.Assemble and verify fittings, hoses, and tubing routes on mechanical units.Use digital systems, production portals, and internal data-entry tools to track work.Perform part marking and overcoat operations.Maintain a clean, organized workstation aligned with 6S/lean guidelines.Follow all safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and ensure equipment guards and tools are used properly.Accurately read, interpret, and record information from production paperwork, drawings, and visual instructions.Perform basic equipment upkeep and handle hazardous materials responsibly.What You BringExperience using basic hand tools and mechanical assembly tools.Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical work instructions.Comfort working with torque tools and small precision components.Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized processes.Ability to retain information from on-the-job training and follow standardized methods.Quality certifications (Orion QA or similar) are a plus but not required for entry level.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in mechanical assembly, hydraulics, aerospace components, or related trade.Exposure to hose, fitting, or tubing installation.Familiarity with fuel systems or pump components is helpful.Ability to train or mentor others is beneficial for higher-level positions.Why Join Our Team?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
