Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Assemblers. This role involves working on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, assembling sub-components and finished products, and executing material processing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble sub-components and finished products using basic product and process knowledge.Operate hand tools, power tools, and an overhead crane to assemble units.Review assembly diagrams to determine parts, quantities, and proper placement.Work collaboratively with a team member to fulfill daily product orders.Lift and fit metal products using hand and power tools.Perform tasks that require lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints.Experience operating an overhead crane.Basic mechanical skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required for permanent conversion (company offers a funded GED program).Ability to lift 60lbs+, with 40lbs+ independently.Capability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.Comfortable working in a fast-paced production and assembly environment.

Work Environment

Work in a spacious and well-organized manufacturing floor where all sections are clearly labeled based on materials and production. The second shift runs from 2PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible Saturday hours from 12:00 PM to 6:00. The third shift rums from 10PM to 6:30AM Sunday through Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $21.00/hr.
