Assembler – Electronic / Electro‑Mechanical Assembly

⭐ What You’ll DoAssemble electronic, electrical, and electro‑mechanical components and subassembliesRead and follow production instructions, drawings, schematics, wire lists, and blueprintsBuild electrical enclosures, cables, wire harnesses, and complex assemblies using crimpers, wire strippers, torque tools, and multimetersPerform point‑to‑point wiring and equipment installations with clean cable routingAssist with software/firmware loading and verification (training available)Support fiber optics assembly and testing (experience a plus, not required)Maintain production efficiency while delivering high‑quality workmanshipComplete production and quality documentation accuratelyFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspaceAbility to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance if required⭐ What We’re Looking ForExperience (any of the following):2+ years in assembly, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, cable/wire harness work, or related production rolesExperience using hand tools, power tools, or basic electrical toolsTechnical Skills:Ability to read and follow technical documentationFamiliarity with wiring, soldering, crimping, or mechanical buildsUnderstanding of schematics, blueprints, or work ordersExperience with electronics testing, fiber optics, or software loading is a plusPreferred Certifications (not required):WHMA/IPC‑A‑620IPC‑A‑610J‑STD‑001Soft Skills:Strong attention to detail and qualityReliable, team‑oriented, and professionalGood communication and problem‑solving skills⭐ Why You’ll Love Working HereWork on meaningful, high‑impact projects supporting national defense and advanced technologyModern 600,000 sq. ft., climate‑controlled facilityOpportunities for training, certifications, and career advancementStable, growing organization with long‑term project demandJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
