Join our team to work on assembling small parts for elevator doors and walls. Candidates will also be responsible for packing parts for shipment. Basic assembly experience or mechanical inclination is preferred, and candidates will be working in both assembly and packing areas.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components.Perform all operations necessary to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies within allocated times while maintaining quality specifications.Work from manufacturing information, SAP, COE sheets, engineering drawings, and written and oral instructions.Package and identify completed assemblies for shipment.Maintain all required records and documents.Essential SkillsBasic assembly experience or mechanical inclination.Ability to use hand tools.Basic blueprint reading.Mechanically inclined.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with kitting and picking is preferred but not required.Ability to perform some lifting up to 50lbs.Why Work Here?This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a reputable company that provides a clean manufacturing environment. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is fairly clean with moderate noise levels. Candidates must wear steel-toed boots, long pants, and safety glasses while in the shop. Shifts are available on a 1st shift from 6am-2pm Monday-Friday and a 2nd shift from 2:30pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
