**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** As an Assembler, you will utilize hand and power tools to complete various assembly tasks. You will follow instructions based on drawings or supervisor guidance, inspect and test completed assemblies, and maintain tool inventory. Additionally, you will use a computer to record assembly status, ensuring all parts are clean and lubricated. **Responsibilities** + Use hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks. + Follow instructions based on drawings or supervisor's guidance. + Inspect and test completed assemblies for quality assurance. + Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies as necessary. + Maintain tool inventory and ensure all tools are properly stored. + Use a computer to record assembly status accurately. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read a tape measure accurately up to 1/16th of an inch. + Basic math skills. + Previous experience in assembly, construction, woodworking, or building. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Mechanical assembly experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is a plus. + Crane experience is desirable. + Familiarity with reading blueprints is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a structured pay increase system, allowing you to increase your earnings significantly within the assembly role. The shifts available are first shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and second shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with potential overtime and work on alternate Saturdays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hobart, IN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
