**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description**
Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling piping systems used in firetrucks, specifically for water systems. This role involves working with blueprints and schematics, and may require some light electrical wiring, primarily 12V.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble piping systems for firetruck water systems.
+ Follow blueprints and schematics during assembly processes.
+ Perform light electrical wiring as needed.
+ Use hand and power tools for cutting, bending, and measuring pipe.
+ Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Basic math skills: addition and subtraction.
+ Ability to lift between 40-50 lbs.
+ Computer knowledge: basic Excel and Word.
+ Ability to climb, twist, bend, stoop, stand, squat, and grasp.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Mechanical aptitude, particularly in automotive service and repair.

**Work Environment**
The work takes place in a well-lit, clean facility with temperature control, ensuring a comfortable work environment. The position is first shift only, Monday to Thursday from 6am-4:30pm, with occasional overtime offered on Fridays.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Hamburg, NY.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
