As an Assembler, you will work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for gathering materials, assembling products, performing tests, and inspections. You will work off a material list and blueprints/assembly drawings to correctly put together products, pick and pack supplies, and perform repair operations. This role requires versatility as you will be cross-trained across different sections on the assembly line.
ResponsibilitiesRetrieve products off the conveyor belt and adjust the lining within the product.Assemble handles and pins, inserting them on the product.Insert foam into the product, package it, and prepare it for shipment.Rotate between different sections to ensure a dynamic workday.Gather proper materials to set up assemblies off a conveyor.Use tools, review prints, and measure with a tape measurer.Ensure specifications are followed and perform tests on products.Essential SkillsExperience using hand and power tools.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Capability to work in a collaborative setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsTrade school experience is a plus.Automotive experience is advantageous.Prior assembly experience is beneficial.Blueprint reading skills are desirable.Why Work Here?Enjoy opportunities for growth with many leads and supervisors being promoted from within. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is clean, organized, and well-lit. Assemblers are required for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. The IMC Assembly operates from 6:00am to 2:15pm, 2:00pm to 10:15pm, and 10:00pm to 6:15am. Roto Assembly hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, and 10:00pm to 6:00am. Attire is not specified, but the work setting promotes a professional atmosphere.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.20/hr.
