PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a skilled Assembler to support the production of advanced aerospace systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble high-quality electronic and mechanical components that contribute to revolutionary technologies impacting lives today and for generations to come.

What You’ll Do Day to DayAs an Assembler, you will perform a wide range of production assembly tasks, from repetitive builds to complex, non-repetitive work. Your responsibilities will include:
Building electromechanical assemblies by following detailed process documentation
Assembling electronic and mechanical subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, frames, drawers, and cables
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams, and reports
Using hand and power tools, jigs, and fixtures to complete assemblies
Performing continuity checks on work-in-process and completed assemblies
Supporting quality inspections in accordance with specifications
Disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing assemblies as required
Collaborating with engineers to improve processes and resolve quality issues
Maintaining a clean, organized work area and monitoring material and equipment expiration dates
Logging measurement data using computer systems
Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of relevant assembly experience
Ability to read and understand engineering documentation and reports
Experience using computers to log measurement and production data
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience dispensing epoxy using Nordson EFD equipment
Soldering experience; IPC J-STD-001 certification preferred
Prior manufacturing experience in aerospace or medical device industries

Pay Details: $24.71 per hour
