Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

This position involves performing a variety of light assembly operations using drawing schematics and diagrams to assemble components or subassemblies. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to production and quality standards in a fast-paced and repetitive environment.

Responsibilities

Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Utilize general shop equipment and a variety of pneumatic hand-tools.Meet production and quality standards in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.Maintain a clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Essential Skills

Experience in production, assembly, and using hand tools.Prior production and manufacturing experience.Experience with fast-paced and repetitive work, meeting production quotas.Ability to use specialized machines such as RG-50, RG-80, HRB, and FBDs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

CNC experience with computer console is a plus.Knowledge in sheet metal, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, press brake, and machine operation.High school level education or equivalent with specialized training from vocational courses or on-the-job.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Capability to make decisions and exercise judgment for quality checks.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment is a dynamic and growing sheet metal manufacturing shop with welders, powder coaters, brake operators, and quality inspectors. The Spokane facility is a new site with plans to expand to over 60 team members, providing a great opportunity to join early and be part of a small, collaborative team. The facility specializes in making parts for key clients, offering a chance to work in a supportive and progressive environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
