**Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift** **Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as an Assembler on the 1st shift, where you will be responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing processes to convert raw materials into finished products, including soldering. This role offers the opportunity to work in a growing company with ample room for career advancement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform a variety of manufacturing processes including soldering to convert raw materials into finished products.
+ Verify kitted raw materials for quantity and proper assembly.
+ Follow written work instructions and direction from Lead Operator/Supervisor.
+ Learn and execute tasks such as punching, potting, trimming, inspection, testing, measuring, wire stripping, cutting, laminating, bonding, baking, crimping, etc.
**Essential Skills**
+ General production experience.
+ Soldering assembly experience.
+ Ability to speak and read English.
+ Use of hand tools and tape measure.
+ Electrical assembly and inspection.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ready to learn attitude.
+ Punctuality and reliability.

**Work Environment**
Work schedule is from 3pm to 11:30pm for the 2nd shift, with training on the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The manufacturing floor is organized, bright, and well-lit, providing an optimal work environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Lyme, CT.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
