**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description**
Assemble sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components. Complete electro-mechanical units using sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in through-hole fashion using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
+ Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
+ Conduct electrical function tests at both printed circuit board and final assembly levels using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering.
+ Perform other duties as required, including packing.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 4 months of production work experience.
+ Ability to lift up to 26 pounds.
+ Experience as an assembler is a plus.
+ Must be able to stand at a workstation for over 8 hours.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Electro-mechanical aptitude is desirable.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams to achieve department/production goals.
+ Strive for continuous process improvement in daily activities.
+ Ability to follow through on tasks assigned to completion.

**Work Environment**
This position is within a fast-paced production work area with tight quarters. Eye protection and protective shoes are mandatory, and loose clothing is prohibited. The role requires standing for extended periods and involves working in a basic production area with stringent deadlines.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Kingstown, RI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
