**Assembler – 1st & 2nd Shift (Medical Device Assembly)** **Location:** Irvine, CA **Job Type:** Contract-to-Hire (12–18 months) We are hiring **Assemblers** for both **1st and 2nd shift** to support the production and testing of life‑saving medical devices. These roles involve assembling small components using microscopes, tools, fixtures, and work instructions in a cleanroom environment. Candidates must be open to weekday work and occasional Saturdays. **Responsibilities** + Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures + Comply with Quality System policies and regulatory requirements + Report issues related to quality, processes, equipment, or materials + Train coworkers on job functions when needed + Maintain a clean, organized work area to support manufacturing flow + Perform additional duties as assigned **Essential Skills** + Microscope experience (90% of shift) + Small‑part assembly skills + Strong communication abilities + Minimum 6 months of high‑volume small‑part assembly using a microscope + High School Diploma or equivalent **Additional Skills & Qualifications (Preferred)** + Medical device assembly experience + Cleanroom experience + Familiarity with hand and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) + Mechanical and electrical assembly skills **Shift Schedules** + **1st Shift:** + 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (may start as early as 5:00 AM or end as late as 3:30 PM) + **2nd Shift:** + 3:30 PM or 3:45 PM start time + Saturday availability required for both shifts **Work Environment** + 100% cleanroom environment + Close‑station, team‑based work + Hands‑on mechanical and electrical assembly tasks **Why Work Here** + Impactful work — devices help remove blood clots and save lives + Supportive culture and strong team environment + Catered lunch once a week + Excellent perks upon permanent conversion **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
