**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description**
The Production Assembly Technician fabricates Barrier Filters and Aero structures for commercial and military rotorcraft that protect engines from unscheduled maintenance and replacement. The role requires efficiency in performing all tasks, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to procedures and policies while focusing on first pass yields.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build Engine Inlet Air Filtration Systems for rotorcraft.
+ Maintain an acceptable level of attendance as per the Attendance Policy.
+ Install and remove universal and flush head rivets, hi-loks, cherry-max, hi-shear fasteners, and platenuts.
+ Work with and around various chemicals and adhere to all standards regarding PPE.
+ Interpret engineering drawings and other documents to ensure proper build completion.
+ Effectively document job completion paperwork.
+ Use protective equipment as required.
+ Build sheet metal sub-assemblies to specifications for CH-53K, and UH-60's, plus some low volume parts.
+ Select and use their own tools.
+ Operate hand tools and power tools like a pneumatic squeeze and a battery-operated drill.
**Essential Skills**
+ Technical and mechanical skills for close tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, rivet installation, trimming, and assembly.
+ Ability to use micrometers, rulers, and calipers for in-process self-inspections.
+ Experience with rivet installation.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Drilling experience.
+ Heavy mechanical assembly skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Entry level to 3 years of experience.
+ Recent military separation is advantageous.
+ Recent technical school graduates are welcome.

**Work Environment**
Work in a climate-controlled, low volume assembly environment. The role is predominantly a sit-down job at a bench, providing a comfortable working condition. Candidates must be open to working a four-day, ten-hour shift schedule, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. There will be opportunities for voluntary and some mandatory overtime, potentially exceeding 50 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, MO.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
