**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** Join our team as an Electrical Assembler where you will play a crucial role in assembling and inspecting electronic components for railway systems. This position offers the opportunity to work in a clean and organized environment, ensuring high-quality assembly with a focus on precision and attention to detail. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately assemble electronic components. + Utilize fine motor skills and small tools to perform precise assembly tasks. + Work collaboratively at the start of the assembly process, passing completed products to the next station for further processing. + Complete four weeks of basic training with a team member and receive peer assessments on all work. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and comprehend schematics. + Proficiency in using fine tools, hand tools, and power tools including micrometers and calipers. + Experience with electrical assembly and inspection. + Capability to use a mechanical torque wrench. + Comfortable with bi-weekly pay schedule. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical assembly. + Skills in soldering, blueprint reading, and crimping. + Strong eye for detail and ability to handle small objects for extended periods. **Work Environment** You will work in a very clean and organized environment, specializing in the design and manufacture of auxiliary power converters and on-board systems for railway cars. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes and work pants, with layers recommended for outdoor activities during fall/winter. The work shift is from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saratoga Springs, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
