Job Title: Electronics Repair Technician

Job Description

This position is responsible for the repair, modification, and replacement of parts on electronic units, specifically focusing on cell phones.

Responsibilities

Analyze failed phones according to established methods and procedures.Resolve technical issues within the scheduled time and provide break and fix solutions using OEM standards.Disassemble and reassemble cell phones into good cosmetic housing.Remove and replace LCD screens from back-housing.Remove and replace motherboards and batteries.Replace screws and ensure component integrity.Be flexible to perform other assigned responsibilities as needed.

Essential Skills

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.Basic troubleshooting skills.Rework experience with cell phones.Basic computer skills for documenting repairs.Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with assembly and disassembly.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Attention to detail and production skills.Familiarity with circuit boards and PCBs.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with a structured schedule. The shift is from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with two breaks and a 30-minute lunch. Interviews will be conducted in Coatesville, with the potential assignment location in either West Chester or Coatesville.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
