**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** The assembler plays a critical role in supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. This role involves applying job skills and company policies to complete a variety of tasks, gaining a working knowledge of product flow, and understanding the impact of quality on production. The assembler will work on routine assignments that require limited judgment, and must adhere to production standards and goals while assisting in cross-training focus factory members. This position operates within established policies and procedures, with general instructions provided for routine work and detailed instructions for new assignments. **Responsibilities** + Read and understand instructions for specific jobs daily. + Perform in-house quality checks to ensure all parts meet standards, documenting any defects as per the 'see something, say something' policy. + Utilize basic hand tools such as flat head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Phillips screwdrivers. + Perform various job functions, ranging from 1 to 20 tasks, based on work instructions for the day. + Sit or stand as required by job tasks, with options available for most positions. **Essential Skills** + 6 months of manufacturing experience. + Proficiency in assembly using basic hand and power tools. + Strong reading and writing skills. + Experience in production and assembly line work. + Familiarity with torque tools and general labor practices. + Basic computer skills and documentation abilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Mechanically inclined individuals preferred. + Experience in electronics, mechanical, and electrical assembly. + Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift. + Capable of frequently reaching at waist level and occasionally above the head. + Ability to carry up to 10 lbs and lift up to 45 lbs. + Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and stoop. **Why Work Here?** This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to diversify their skills and grow within a company.
