**Now hiring for a well known boat manufacturing facility in Edgewater, FL (32141)** **Job Description** Join our team as a Laminator, Assembler, or Finisher. No previous boat experience needed. Please apply if you have any experience in the following industries: + Line Cook/ Service industry + Construction + Automotive + Manufacturing + Carpentry/ Painting **_For quicker response send resume to (Kgraf@aerotek.com)_** Schedule Monday- Thursday 5 am - 3:30 OR 6 am- 4:30 3 day weekend every weekend! **Responsibilities- will be trained** + Operate hand and power tools to assemble components of boats + Read and interpret blueprints and drawings + Ensure required parts and raw materials are ready when scheduled. + Arrange material according to documentation using numbers, letters, words, or pictures. + Spray fiberglass and/or lay sheets of fiberglass on part molds. + Press and smooth layers into place using rollers. + Operate fiberglass chop guns effectively. + Manipulate material using hands, arms, and rollers. + Use mil gauge for gel coats and fiberglass to ensure correct material application. + Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of material and storage areas. + Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. + Engage in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) and quality initiatives. + Operate material handling equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead hoists. + Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respirators and gloves. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers employees benefits from the first day of employment, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, profit sharing, quarterly bonuses, paid parental leave, and more. Expect frequent exposure to high temperatures, especially during summer months, and moderate noise levels. Safety glasses, Tyvek aprons, and respirators are required, along with steel toe boots. The environment involves exposure to mechanical parts, resins, fiberglass dust, epoxy, and other chemicals. Physical activity such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds is necessary. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edgewater, FL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
