Job Description
Join our team in building cables and connectors for space components and routers. You will be working in an ESD environment, performing hand soldering, SMT, and fine pitch tasks, often using a microscope for around five hours a day.
Responsibilities
Build and assemble cables and connectors for space components and routers.Perform hand soldering, SMT, and fine pitch tasks.Work extensively with a microscope for precision assembly.Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with ESD standards.Interpret and work from assembly drawings.Essential Skills
5-7 years of experience in EM Assembly, particularly in electrical/PCB assembly.Proficiency in soldering and mechanical skills to J-STD-001 and IPC610 standards.Ability to interpret assembly drawings accurately.Additional Skills & Qualifications
IPC or J STD certification.Experience in the space or defense industry is highly preferred.Familiarity with EM assembly and connector building.Why Work Here

Work Environment
The position requires working in an ESD environment, specifically in a lab setting that is semi-clean room compliant. Personal Protective Equipment includes a lab coat, hair net, and shoe covers. The role involves working on the third shift from 11 am to 7:30 am, with initial training on the first shift for two weeks starting at either 7 am or 8 am. You'll be assembling electronic hardware in an aerospace clean room environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
