**Job Title: Assembler** Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Assembler where you will support both the assembly and material handling teams. You will be responsible for using hand and power tools to perform assemblies on an assembly line, adhering strictly to work procedures. Additionally, you will receive training in shipping and receiving, equipping you with skills to support the warehouse and materials team responsible for inventory management. Responsibilities + Perform robotics assembly and testing on an assembly line. + Handle material movement and manage data collection. + Conduct manual assembly and component testing. + Perform visual inspections and track inventory. + Reconcile inventory discrepancies and follow work instructions for each assembly job. + Train and learn new duties to support the team effectively. Essential Skills + Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for assembling and repairing large mechanical assemblies. + Manual dexterity and strength to assemble and test large components (up to 50 lbs). + Experience using basic power tools. + Ability to follow detailed work instructions. + Strong team collaboration and effective communication skills. + Capability to work with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and its tools, such as 5S Principles and Kaizen. + Experience with manufacturing execution systems. + Certificate or degree in electro-mechanical fields. + Ability to use pallet jacks and any type of shipping experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Westborough, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
