**Job Title: Assembler** Job Description In this role, you will work with fiber cables, measuring, cutting, and placing them into clips. Following detailed blueprints or enlarged work instructions, you will feed each color-coded wire through a connector. Precision is essential as the wires are small, and accuracy in the order of feeding is crucial. Once all wires are correctly fed, you will apply a small drop of epoxy and pull the wires through to complete a coating that covers the entire surface. The assembly will then be placed into a curing device to dry the epoxy coating, followed by a final polishing stage and testing to ensure proper connections. You will use small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes to complete the assemblies. Responsibilities + Measure, cut, and place fiber cables into clips. + Follow blueprints to feed color-coded wires through connectors with precision. + Apply epoxy to secure wire coatings and use a curing device for drying. + Conduct final polishing and testing to ensure connection integrity. + Utilize small hand tools and microscopes for assembly tasks. Essential Skills + 1+ year of manufacturing experience, particularly in small parts or medical device assembly. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to distinguish colors for accurate wire placement. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with guidewire, hand tools, and microscope assembly. + Familiarity with assembly in clean room environments. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a new, rapidly growing division in a recently renovated facility. Employees work in a clean room environment without the need for specific clean room attire, allowing for business casual dress. A smock is required, and optional PPE such as gloves or safety glasses are provided. This division is expected to grow significantly, offering a dynamic and evolving workplace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
