**Job Title: Technician** Job Description As a Technician, you will be responsible for building concert stages from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on approach and involves the use of power tools, hand tools, and blueprints to construct stages. You will be bending, twisting, and climbing to assemble these stages and should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs individually or 100 lbs as part of a team lift. Responsibilities + Install flooring, fiberglass, and hydraulic systems. + Perform wiring and electrical connections as needed. + Install hydraulics and integrate various sub-components. + Read and interpret measuring instruments for precise assembly. + Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. + Work independently and as part of a team in a shop environment. Essential Skills + Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. + Comfortable working in various positions, including sitting, standing, and crawling under/on stages. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Strong commitment to workplace safety. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to read standard shop drawings (preferred but not required). + Mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience. + Experience in construction, electrical work, or hydraulics. Work Environment You will work in a shop environment spread across three buildings, resembling a large garage with shop doors to accommodate the stages. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. It takes approximately 1-2 months to build one stage from start to finish. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburg, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
