**Job Title: Assembler**
Job Description
The assembler will be responsible for assembling small magnetic pieces for the Aerospace, Aviation, and Med Device Industries. This includes obtaining necessary pieces, following work orders and instructions, and assembling the components.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain magnetizing, demagnetizing, and marking equipment.
+ Train other assemblers in equipment use and assembly techniques.
+ Provide initial approval and limited supervision for other assemblers.
+ Assemble intricate magnet components following detailed blueprints and work instructions.
+ Understand and follow stringent quality, customer, and safety requirements.
+ Apply knowledge of Lean Manufacturing to enhance assembly processes.
+ Record tracking information on work orders and maintain computerized records.
+ Lead and collaborate within assembly teams, especially for larger or more intricate products.
+ Maintain a tidy work environment conducive to efficient operations.
+ Adapt dynamically to evolving product requirements and changes.
+ Meet challenging demands for quality, responsiveness, and deadlines.
+ Provide technical expertise across various industries.
+ Assist with special projects and undertake assigned duties.
Essential Skills
+ Strong communication and listening skills.
+ Proficiency in reading and understanding QMS Systems and work instructions.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in product assembly or following precise processes.
+ Ability to work with small parts.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to speak, read, and write English.
+ Experience with magnetic/metals is a plus.
+ Familiarity with hand or power tools for assembly is advantageous.

There are four openings, split between the first and second shifts. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
