**Job Title: Light Assembly Technician**
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Light Assembly Technician to join our team, focusing on assembling interior injection molded products. You will work in a collaborative work cell with 3-4 other assembly stations, handling small plastic pieces and assembling them into larger components. You will then place the completed items into a designated bin. Performance is measured by piece rate, which varies between 200-400 pieces per shift.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble small plastic components into larger products.
+ Work effectively in a team within a work cell.
+ Meet piece rate performance standards, varying from 200 to 400 pieces per shift.
+ Ensure all completed assemblies are placed into the designated bin for further processing.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of manufacturing experience
+ Proficiency in mechanical assembly and injection molding manufacturing
+ Ability to interpret blueprints
+ Experience using hand tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High volume assembly experience
+ Machine operating experience

Work Environment
The position requires working 50 hours a week, including a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks. This role is scheduled for the 2nd shift, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vicksburg, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $18.70/hr.
