**Job Description** The Assembler will be responsible for simple mechanical assembly and finishing of in-process units. This role primarily involves box building and box finishing, which includes attaching rectangular metal pieces to form the frame of the unit and wrapping the completed unit in a cardboard box for shipment. This task requires dexterity to effectively maneuver around the unit. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical assembly of units by attaching metal pieces to form a frame. + Complete box finishing by wrapping completed units in cardboard and securing them for shipment. + Use hand and power tools for assembly tasks. + Ensure quality and safety standards are met according to company guidelines. + Work efficiently on an assembly line in a production environment. **Required Skills** + Experience standing for at least 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. + Ability to repetitively lift 30-40 pounds, up to 50+ times per day. + Familiarity with hand and power tools. + Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective shoes. + Ability to work safely and maintain high quality of work. **Available Shift & Pay** + 1st shift: 6am-4:30pm (Monday - Thursday) + **$18.50** **Why Work Here?** This facility offers a temperature-controlled environment with opportunities for advancement to higher-paying roles such as Assembler II. The facility is equipped with a laser cutting machine, deburring and brazing stations, and workstations for hand tool tasks. The assembly area, while organized, can be somewhat cramped due to space occupied by units. The facility is temperature-controlled, though employees may feel warm due to wearing protective gear such as arm sleeves. Shifts include a 1st shift from 6am-4:30pm and a 2nd shift from 4:30pm-3am, with mandatory overtime on Fridays. Required attire includes steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, and cut gloves. Employees must wear cotton, canvas, or denim pants, and no hoods are to be worn over the head. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Noblesville, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
