We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team, where you will be involved in inspection, documentation, testing, and quality assurance tasks. You will work with blueprints and diagrams, utilizing screws, hand tools, and your expertise in assembly.
ResponsibilitiesPerform functional and acceptance testing on final products and complete functional testing data sheets.Use hand measurement gauges and test equipment to ensure product compliance.Record first pass yield information and comments on inspection sheets and database.Report any quality or safety issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.Perform light assembly and repairs as required.Meet production standards and complete work in a timely manner.Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences.
Essential SkillsMechanical and electrical assembly experience.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Proficient in using hand tools, soldering, and troubleshooting.Experience with multi-meter, micrometer, dial indicator, caliper, and gauges.Strong documentation skills and ability to write in English.Open to working 10-15 hours of overtime.
Additional Skills & QualificationsQC experience in an aerospace environment is a plus.Able to lift up to 50 pounds about 10-20% of the day.Permanent resident status required.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean environment that adheres to strict ISO 9001 regulations. The assembly department consists of seven people, and you will be standing the majority of the day. The facility is in Addison, IL, with working hours from 6 am to 3:30 pm, and some work may start at 5 am with occasional Saturday shifts. Employees have their own desk/workstation with adequate lighting and tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
