**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler | $21-24/HR | 1st Shift**
Job Description
As an Assembler, you will fabricate and assemble mechanical and electrical sub-systems including transformers, inductors, switches, and buss bars. You will be responsible for cutting, drilling, threading, and machining on metal and non-metal materials, while reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Additionally, you will perform water or air leak checks on cooling systems and brazed assemblies, insulate, tape, clean, and paint parts and assemblies to specification, wire electrical components in panels and cabinets following schematics and standard practices, cut out cabinet panels, and perform fit-up work for electrical enclosures. Moreover, you will install hoses and piping for water-cooled components and maintain clean and safe work areas, performing minor maintenance on tools and equipment.
Responsibilities

Work Environment
This is a direct placement role within a large, heavy industrial environment focused on machine building. The shift runs from 6am to 2:30pm, with potential overtime extending until 3:30 or 4:30pm and occasional half-day Saturdays. The facility is bustling with activity, showcasing an overflow of work and parts, making it a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $58240.00/yr.
