**Job Title: Assembler** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support both assembly and material handling teams to aid in production and product packaging. You will utilize hand and power tools to perform assemblies on an assembly line, strictly adhering to work procedures. Additionally, you will receive training in shipping, receiving, and various skills to support the warehouse and materials team. Responsibilities + Support the assembly and material handling teams in production and product packaging. + Use hand and power tools to perform assemblies on an assembly line. + Follow detailed work procedures to complete assembly builds. + Train on shipping and receiving tasks to support the warehouse and materials team. + Perform tasks in robotics assembly and testing. + Participate in material movement, data collection, manual assembly, and component testing. + Conduct visual inspections and inventory tracking and reconciliation. Essential Skills + Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for assembling and repairing large mechanical assemblies. + Manual dexterity for assembly tasks. + Physical strength and endurance to assemble, install, and test larger components up to 50 lbs. + Ability to use basic power tools. + Capability to follow detailed work instructions for each assembly job. + Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Ability to train and learn new duties with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and its tools such as 5S Principles and Kaizen. + Experience with manufacturing execution systems. + Certificate or degree in electro-mechanical fields. + Ability to use pallet jacks. + Any type of shipping experience. + Ability to read work instructions. + Experience with hand tools such as torque screwdrivers, drills, and various equipment. + Background in assembly and warehouse operations, including picking, stocking, and material handling. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
