Currently hiring full time ASSEMBLERS for this manufacturing company located in the Delaware County Area. The assemblers will perform final check-out tests of various assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools, machine tools, and test equipment. Qualified candidates interested in this role will have to have prior assembly experince, reading blueprints, and have there own tools that they will be able to bring to the job. Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and engineering sketches (10% of time).Assemble and subassemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical parts and equipment of both standard and complex nature, including some prototype work (45% of time).Perform standard and difficult adjusting and fitting (10% of time).Conduct standard and non-standard tests (20% of time).Maintain all functions following safety procedures and practices, ensuring the work area and equipment are kept in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.

Essential Skills

2-3 years of mechanical assembly experience.Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering sketches.Proficiency in using hand tools and some machine tools and/or test equipment.Experience in intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning requiring close tolerances.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
