Job Description
The assembler is responsible for assembling and piecing parts, components, electrical distribution equipment and sub-assemblies to produce commercial and industrial electrical units. You will receive daily work instructions from the lead and collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand the assembly process
ResponsibilitiesPosition, gather, and arrange parts for proper assembly, ensuring fit and tolerances are verified.Perform assembly tasks independently using hand and power tools in your designated work area.Interpret work instructions, designs, and schematics accurately.Mount assembled components such as transformers, panel boards, capacitors, circuit breakers, and switches in cabinets.Assemble and fabricate sheet metal parts, ensuring the final product meets specifications.Essential SkillsProficiency in using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, hammers, and torque tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Capability to work independently.Minimum of 1 year assembly experience in a commercial or industrial setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable standing for the entire shift and with physical activities such as kneeling and bending.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a smaller shop with around 10-15 employees. The environment allows for wearing one headphone. It is not temperature-controlled, so it can get warmer during summer months and may have strong paint fumes. Steel-toed boots are required. The first shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with some voluntary overtime available.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
