**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** The Assembler will demonstrate a proficiency of skills to perform consistently above average quality of work in a timely fashion. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and schematics, using hand and power tools, and engaging in mechanical assembly. The role involves performing manufacturing operations on assemblies, subassemblies, and electro-mechanical assemblies used in devices of moderate to difficult complexity. The Assembler will at times work with personnel outside the immediate department, such as Engineering, QA, and Materials. **Responsibilities** + Demonstrate proficiency in performing high-quality assembly work. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Use hand and power tools for assembly tasks. + Engage in mechanical assembly and manufacturing operations. + Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Materials departments. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings. + Knowledge of power tools and hand tools. + Good oral and written communication skills. + Visual alertness and manual dexterity. + Ability to work from established drawings. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a contract manufacturing environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Our work culture values flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork. **Work Environment** Our facility in Elkridge offers a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment providing turnkey electronics manufacturing solutions. We have capabilities in assembling conveyors, complex military/defense box builds, UL508a control panels, large mechanical systems, and cable/wire harnesses. Employees can expect to move around different projects, ensuring a dynamic and varied work experience. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ELKRIDGE, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
