**Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**TOP Skills needed:**
+ Mechanical Assembly (assembly of instruments or machines of a technical nature with moving parts)
+ Use of hand tools
+ Troubleshooting
+ Blueprint Reading
+ · Strong mechanical skills as 99% of the assembly work will be mechanical
+ · Able to read and follow mechanical diagrams and written instructions
+ · Proven ability to work independently with minimal routine / daily supervision
+ · Good attendance record and references
+ · Strong communication skills
**Description:**
+ Will be working on a team of two.
+ The contractor will take repair calls to determine the type of service needed.
+ If the client cannot troubleshoot the issue over the phone, the part will be sent back to Distek for repair.
+ Repair replacements- Part replacements, Calibrations, PM, lubes, valves, belts, pumps, pulleys, gears.
+ Read blueprints/schematics
+ Hand tools-Digital Volt Meters, Flow Meters, Solder, Wire Crimpers
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Calibrations- Machine calibrations a plus
+ Hand tools
+ Use hand tools for part replacements of, Calibrations, PM, lubes, valves, belts, pumps, pulleys, gears.
+ Computer-Microsoft Word/Excel because contractor will keep a spread sheet of what is coming in and going and what needs to be repaired.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
