**Job Title: Assembly Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in the assembly department. The role involves installing cabinets, racks, drawers, and shelves into the back of Transit vans and other trucks. You will use air tools to ensure installations meet customer specifications. This position requires physical activity such as bending, twisting, and repetitive movements, as you will frequently be getting in and out of vans on the assembly line.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install cabinets, racks, drawers, and shelves into the back of Transit vans and other trucks.
+ Use air tools to perform installations according to customer specifications.
+ Engage in physical activities including bending, twisting, and repetitive movements.
+ Work primarily on your knees and bending as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
+ Experience in assembly and installation processes.
+ Ability to perform upfitting tasks efficiently.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of general production processes.
+ Understanding of safety measures, including the use of PPE such as safety glasses and ear plugs.
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a clean, non-climate controlled facility equipped with six large garage doors to allow airflow during the summer. You will work collaboratively with teams of 5-10 other contractors.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
