Job Description

Join a specialized manufacturing company in North Carolina that operates from a massive 110-acre facility, focusing on custom armored vehicle fabrication. This is an opportunity for skilled and detail-oriented automotive technicians to work on unique, precision-driven projects that require adaptability and pride in craftsmanship.

ResponsibilitiesRead assembly guidelines provided by OEM service engineers.Perform teardowns and build-ups of auto parts before and after exterior parts are painted.Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles for quality assurance.Conduct function testing of vehicles to ensure proper operation.Document additional issues and report them to the Team Leader/Manager promptly.Recognize personal improvement areas and work towards personal growth.Maintain a clean workstation and work environment.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in vehicle assembly, preferably in diagnostics, repair, or custom builds.Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving vehicle issues.Ability to read blueprints and schematics for wiring, mechanical, and structural modifications.Basic skills in computer operations and applications.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic automotive experience with hand tools.Ability to work independently or in a group setting with minimal supervision.Experience with programming vehicle systems.Familiarity with urethane glass finishing or ballistic glass applications.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional mandatory overtime. The facility is non-climate controlled, with garage doors open, and operates in a loud, heavy industrial setting. Employees must be comfortable with moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that require bending, climbing, stooping, and stretching within a vehicle.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Na, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
