Job Title: Industrial Assembler
Job Description

The position involves assembling heavy industrial equipment by bringing parts to the designated area, reviewing drawings, and using tools to assemble components. The job requires working with various sizes of wrenches, ranging from 12 inches to over 6 feet. This role includes hydronic testing, for which training will be provided. The tasks are repetitive and can involve physical effort, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with assistance available through overhead cranes or forklifts if necessary.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble industrial equipment using provided parts and tools.Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.Perform repetitive tasks using tools, such as wrenches.Conduct hydronic testing with provided training.Log jobs using an MRP or ERP system.Maintain safety standards and use provided PPE.Essential SkillsAbility to read and understand schematics and drawings.Experience with an MRP or ERP system for job logging.Mechanical aptitude.At least 1 year of experience assembling heavy industrial equipment.Experience with hydraulic systems.Testing experience.Ability to operate an overhead crane and forklift.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of hydraulics is an asset.Possession of a forklift ticket.Willingness to work overtime.Good organizational skills.Punctuality and reliability.Flexibility to assist other teams as needed.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work takes place in an 80,000 sqft clean shop, featuring a machine shop, assembly area, three paint booths, and an enclosed welding shop. The facility includes a bright lunch and training room, with lunch amenities such as two TVs. The company is environmentally conscious. The team consists of 12-30 machinists, providing ample support. Employees work directly with a lead and supervisor, as well as other staff members. The standard shift is 7:00 am to 3:15 pm, with breaks included, and may change to 6:00 am to 2:15 pm after probation. Shift flexibility for after-hours or Saturdays may be needed. Necessary PPE is provided, including STWB.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
