**Job Title: Assembler** **4 Day Work Week!** **Job Description** Join our team as an Assembly Technician on the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, where you will play a crucial role in assembling components using various machines and hand tools. As part of the Assembly team, you will cross-train in all functions and contribute to the production of high-quality products. **Responsibilities** + Perform repetitive assembly processes using varied machines and hand tools. + Brazing end caps onto cylinders to form fully assembled shells. + Manipulate shells to upright positions and load them onto brazing machines. + Clean off slag using hand tools and ensure quality standards are met. + Maintain records related to production, downtime, and quality. + Ensure work area and equipment are clean and orderly. + Perform necessary computer transactions using various applications. + Complete miscellaneous job assignments as directed by team leaders. **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience. + Proficient with power tools. + Attention to detail. + Ability to read tape measures and schematics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic arithmetic skills (MDAS, decimals). + Hand dexterity and ability to work with both hands. + Willingness to cross-train in various functions. + Team Oriented **Why Work Here?** We invest in our team members, understanding that our success is directly linked to their contributions. Our facility is ergonomic conscious and has been significantly upgraded. Team sizes vary from 3 to 6 individuals depending on tasks, ensuring a collaborative work atmosphere. Dress code requires PPE such as steel toe boots, long work pants, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety vests. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.96/hr.
