Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join a leading telecommunications company that specializes in providing software platforms, systems, and services to support the delivery of broadband services. We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team and contribute to our long-term projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble components and parts according to specifications and requirements.Utilize hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and screw guns, to perform assembly tasks efficiently.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards.Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production targets.Essential SkillsAt least 1+ year of assembly experience from a manufacturing company.6+ months of hand tool experience, including on-the-job use of common hand tools.Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office proficiency.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude, such as changing oil in a car or home renovations.Experience with soldering tools and electronics repair.Circuit board assembly experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The production environment is a clean room style, where all floor workers wear special shoe inserts to prevent static damage to equipment. The facility operates with over 50 people working on the floor, emphasizing designated walkways and restricted work areas. As a project-based company, hitting deadlines is crucial, and the team may be required to work overtime. Available shifts include first shift from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, second shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and third shift from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with potential for extended hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50/hr.
