Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler who is comfortable working on their feet throughout the day. This role involves collaborating with others and being adaptable to cross-training in various areas.
ResponsibilitiesDocument received items during the Receiving phase.Perform a manual Factory Reset by pressing a button.Conduct an Automatic Test by plugging in up to 32 units to determine necessary repairs, which can take 60-90 minutes.Execute a Wi-Fi Test on units.Perform an Elevated Test to check temperature.Clean units cosmetically.Conduct cosmetic repairs on units.Perform In Process Quality Control (IPQC).Assemble kits.Pack out/palletize for shipment in kits.Ship completed units.Essential SkillsAttention to detailAbility to work collaboratively with othersComfortable standing for long periodsWillingness to cross-train in various areasAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with assembly, packing, and repairSkill in using repair parts and refurbishingProficiency in stock and quality inspectionAbility to use soldering tools and test equipmentExperience with RF scanners, computers, and blueprintsCapability to handle power tools and general labor tasksHand dexterity and punctualityWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a brand new facility built specifically for our operations, featuring a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is conveniently located in Elgin, IL, near major roads and amenities such as gas stations and restaurants.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
