**Job Title: Assembly Technician**
**Job Description**
Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in installing cabinets, racks, and drawers into the backs of Transit vans and other trucks. This position involves working in the assembly department using air tools to meet customer specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install cabinets, shelves, and drawers using air tools according to customer specifications.
+ Ensure precise and accurate assembly of components.
+ Adapt to bending, twisting, and repetitive movements to access different parts of the vans.
+ Work on your knees and bend frequently as required by the assembly process.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Experience with assembly and installation processes.
+ Familiarity with upfitting and general production techniques.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work collaboratively with a team of 5-10 contractors.
+ Personal protective equipment: safety glasses and ear plugs required (no steel toes).

**Work Environment**
The facility is well-maintained and clean, though not climate-controlled. With six large garage doors open during the summer, you will enjoy a comfortable breeze. Work collaboratively with a team of 5-10 other contractors to achieve common goals.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
