**Job Title: Assembler-CUG**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic team where you will be integral in assembling sub-components and finished products. You will work with sheet metal plates, using a tape gun to secure units, and collaborate with a partner to meet high production standards. The role demands working in a fast-paced environment with the expectation of gasketting up to 400 plates per shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble sub-components and finished products using basic product and process knowledge.
+ Fit metal products using hand tools and power tools.
+ Operate hand and power tools, and an overhead crane to build heat exchangers.
+ Engage in fast-paced production and assembly tasks.
+ Lift 60lbs+ to fit products together.
+ Collaborate with a team member to fulfill product orders daily.
+ Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret assembly diagrams and blueprints.
+ Experience operating an overhead crane.
+ Understanding of mechanical and schematic drawings.
+ Competence in using a tape measure.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED required upon conversion to permanent position.
+ Ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently).
+ Capability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.
+ Skill in using hands to operate hand tools and power equipment.

**Work Environment**
Work on a large, clean, and organized manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections for materials and production. The position operates on the first shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with optional overtime until 4:30 PM, or the second shift from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, with potential overtime on Saturdays from 12 PM to 6 PM.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
