**Job Title: Assembly Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling products and operating equipment safely, productively, and ergonomically to manufacture quality parts and assemblies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble, package, and label products.
+ Operate equipment and tools such as impact wrench, drill, mallet, screwdrivers, and pneumatic rivet gun.
+ Maintain continuous productivity levels with supervision.
+ Produce quality finished goods with minimal quality issues.
+ Keep assembly jigs, hand tools, and equipment in good working order.
+ Demonstrate basic product knowledge, including identifying wheels, model numbers, bearings, nuts, and bolts.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workplace by correctly placing tools and hardware, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash properly.
+ Notify Production Supervisor of tools needing repair, low inventory items, and poor product quality.
+ Read assembly drawings accurately for dimensions, parts list, assembly instructions, and CTQs.
+ Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as required.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in packaging, assembly, labeling, and general labor.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and tape measure.
+ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and understand assembly instructions.
+ Previous manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
+ Ability to read a tape measure in fractions and decimals.
+ Skills in order picking and warehouse operations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous manufacturing assembly experience is preferred but not required.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, Missouri.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.47 - $20.47/hr.
