**1st shift: Assembler $18** **Description** 1st Shift Openings: 6:15 am - 2:45 pm M-F They will be working on the assembly line. They will rotate from their station every hour, so they must be comfortable with each station. They are assembling glass panel doors with blinds sealed in the middle for houses while they go down the assembly line. Will use power tools to assembly while on the line. No experience is needed- they will train anyone. Will start any day of the week. Station 1: prepping the blinds Station 2: Prepping the glass- will be wearing a hair net. Cleaning the glass panels. These panels are only about 2 pounds but you are lifting and twisting a lot throughout the day Station 3: two person job- getting the glass panels and sealing them together on the assembly line and sending it through the oven. You will line it up on the conveyor belt with the suction cups to make sure the two panels you are sealing together are lined up properly Station 4: Taking the glass from the oven, making sure it is fully sealed together and passing it down the line. The glass is now about 20 pounds after it comes out of the oven so it is heavier. You are not lifting it but a lot of twisting and pushing it down the line. Station 5: continuing to push it down the line, cleaning it Station 6: testing the blinds **Skills** assembly line, Assembly, Hand tool, Power tool, production, general labor, machine operation, mechanical, general production, mechanical assembly **Additional Skills & Qualifications** MUST HAVES: - 1 year manufacturing experience - Good attitude - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds - Be willing to train and learn **to get in touch with a recruiter text: six-one-six-four-two-sit-nine-two-one-two** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
