**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join a world-class leader in designing, building, and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for a diverse range of aerospace customers. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts, assembly of component parts including attaching parts together by installing ground studs, nut plates, or bonding. You will utilize hand and pneumatic tools, measuring tools like Micrometers and Calipers, and perform riveting and countersinking, working off aerospace blueprints and schematics. We provide training, but appreciate candidates with a mechanical history, good work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts.
+ Assemble component parts by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding.
+ Utilize hand and pneumatic tools in assembly processes.
+ Use measuring tools such as Micrometers and Calipers.
+ Perform riveting and countersinking tasks.
+ Work from aerospace blueprints and schematics.
**Essential Skills**
+ Prior aerospace assembly experience.
+ Experience with sheet metal.
+ Ability to perform countersinking and squeezing.
+ Mechanical inclination and positive attitude.
+ Experience using measuring tools like calipers, shim gauges, and height gauges.
+ Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
+ Effective communication skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with hand tools.
+ Ability to read and speak English fluently.

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean manufacturing shop that specializes in steel and sheet metal parts for the aerospace industry. The environment can be loud and involves working with heavy materials. The facility is organized, promoting safety and efficiency. The regular shift is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a start time of 7:00 am for the first few days. Citizenship proof is required on the first day to ensure compliance.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
