**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
The assembler plays a crucial role in supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. This position involves applying job skills and company policies and procedures to complete various tasks, acquiring a working knowledge of product flow, and understanding the impact of quality on production. The assembler works on routine assignments requiring limited judgment and must have a working knowledge of production standards and goals. This role involves assisting in cross-training focus factory members as instructed and operating within established policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and document instructions for specific jobs at the workstation daily.
+ Perform in-house quality checks to ensure all parts are good and document any defects.
+ Utilize basic hand tools, such as flat head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Philips screwdrivers.
+ Understand the functions of each job, which can vary from 1-20 functions depending on daily work instructions.
+ Option to sit or stand during tasks, with specific lines requiring standing.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6 months of manufacturing experience.
+ Proficiency in assembly using basic hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read and write documentation.
+ Understanding of production assembly and assembly line processes.
+ Familiarity with torque tools and electronics.
+ Computer skills for documentation purposes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Mechanically inclined, preferably from a manufacturing experience.
+ Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift.
+ Ability to frequently reach at waist and occasionally above head.
+ Capability to carry up to 10 lbs and lift up to 45 lbs.
+ Proficiency in using basic hand tools.
+ Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and stoop.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
