**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled assemblers with expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical assembly. Successful candidates will contribute to the assembly and testing of components for cranes, diggers, booms, and trucks, ensuring high product quality and conformance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build, install, and test hydraulic components for cranes, diggers, booms, and trucks.
+ Perform complex mechanical assembly and conduct hydraulic functional testing.
+ Read blueprints and work instructions with ease.
+ Understand hydraulic principles and use power supplies and tools.
+ Install electrical wiring systems and components on trucks, including troubleshooting malfunctions.
+ Follow safety regulations, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and wear appropriate safety attire.
+ Install lights, alarms, cameras, and other electrical components on trucks.
+ Assemble electrical systems and support structures using rivets and bolts.
+ Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
+ Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
+ Inspect, operate, and test products to meet customer expectations.
+ Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and wiring problems.
+ Inspect and test equipment for trucks before delivery to customers.
+ Check booms, hydraulic lifts, electronics, and lights.
+ Complete paperwork, checklists, and note defects or issues.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma/GED required.
+ Ability to read, write, and comprehend necessary documentation.
+ Basic computer usage knowledge.
+ Proficient in reading tape measures and blueprints.
+ Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly.
+ Basic understanding of hydraulic principles.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Vocational training is desired.
+ Experience in production assembly and machine operation.
+ Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

**Work Environment**
Work in a fast-paced, performance-driven manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled. Dress code includes plain colored t-shirts, jeans, and steel-toe footwear. Shifts are available as follows: First Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm; Second Shift: 3:15pm - 11:45pm; Third Shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am. Initial orientation required for contractors on Monday and Tuesday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with training on First Shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DALEVILLE, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $21.80/hr.
