Job Title: Medical Device Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Medical Device Assembly Technician, where you will work on catheter assembly using precision tools and techniques in a controlled environment. This role involves maintaining high-quality standards, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to GMP/GDP policies.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble catheters using small hand tools such as tweezers and razors.Adhere to all quality policies and systems, maintaining accurate records including Lot History Records (LHR).Process small parts under a microscope and flexibly rotate to other stations as necessary.Follow and adhere to 5S principles and goals.Operate machinery for balloon blowing and work with plastic tubing and guidewires under a microscope.Perform UV curing and hot box operations in catheter assembly.Package hydrogel into catheters using ovens and fridges.Essential SkillsExperience in catheter medical device assembly or medical device packaging.Proficiency in using a microscope for working with small parts such as catheter tubes or stents.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for document completion and potential FDA communication.Ability to work in a Controlled Environment Room with good hand-eye coordination.Strong reading, writing, math, and inventory control skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of GMP, GDP, and MPI.Experience in clean room environments and mechanical assembly.Skill in using hand tools and mechanical production techniques.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in an FDA-regulated clean room environment with day shifts from 5:30/6 AM to 2:30 PM or swing shifts from 2:30/2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with a 10% shift differential. Expect a structured environment focused on quality and precision.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
