**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** As an assembler, you will be responsible for product assembly, inspection, testing, and handling shipping and receiving duties. Your role will involve working with small parts and components using various tools and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Assemble, inspect, or test small parts/components using hand tools, tweezers, and micro-assembly tools with precision. + Follow mechanical and SOP-based assembly processes with at least 1 year of experience preferred. + Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to perform fine motor tasks for extended periods. + Work with tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers, and handle small intricate parts. + Read and interpret SOPs, blueprints, and detailed instructions accurately. + Perform basic and customized assembly of small mechanical components, occasionally using a magnifying glass for intricate processes. + Lift up to 50 pounds on rare occasions, with regular lifting around 10-20 pounds. + Conduct step-by-step inspections to ensure customer specifications are met and all procedures are completed correctly. + Utilize fixtures and tools to perform basic testing of components and finished products. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly experience. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Soldering and finishing skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic math skills. + Ability to read and follow work instructions. **Why Work Here?** Join a small, family-owned company that manufactures parts for various industries.
