**Job Title: Assembler (First and Second Shift Available)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. These components are vital in maintaining efficient and safe production lines across various industries, including dairy, food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a clean and organized facility. **Responsibilities** + Use hand and power tools to assemble units + Utilize computer screens to access job lists, identifying units, parts, and tools needed for assembly. + Ensure quality and accuracy in all assembly tasks, following blueprints and specifications. + Lift, climb, stand, and operate equipment as part of daily responsibilities. + Regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods, handling materials and tools. **Essential Skills** + Experience with mechanical assembly. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Ability to interpret and follow blueprints and quality standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required within one year of converting to permanent status (company offers GED program). + Physical capability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently). **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values organization and safety in the workplace, with a commitment to employee growth and development. Second shift runs from 2PM to 10:30PM, with possible mandatory overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
