**Job Title: Operator**
**Job Description**
This role involves the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. The position requires performing a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies. Working under close supervision, you will execute routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure accurate and up-to-date job documentation for cell operations and functions.
+ Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral form.
+ Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
+ Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices during operations.
+ Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and achieve quality and profitability metrics.
+ Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and address quality issues.
+ Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
+ Collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics.
+ Support Divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

+ Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
+ Understanding and following verbal instructions.
+ Utilizing electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
+ Prioritizing work by determining the sequencing and timing of jobs based on precedence and importance.
+ Handling and maneuvering small components and parts.
+ Making critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
+ Possession of a high school degree or equivalent.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in assembly and testing.
+ Basic computer skills.

**Work Environment**
The work environment requires adherence to a specific dress code to maintain a clean and safe production area. Clothing must be non-shedding and free of loose threads. Shoes must be worn at all times, with specific restrictions on heels and open designs. Personal grooming must adhere to safety standards, including restrictions on nail polish, jewelry, and makeup. The facility operates under strict cleanliness protocols, ensuring a professional and safe working atmosphere.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
