Job Description
Join our team in the optical wire department, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of small plastic connectors. You will be responsible for inspecting clear plastic pieces for imperfections using a magnifying glass or microscope, and assembling connectors onto fiberoptic cables. This position involves repetitive tasks with small pieces, alternating between sitting and standing, and minimal lifting requirements.
ResponsibilitiesInspect small plastic connectors using magnifying tools for black spots or bubbles.Assemble connectors onto the end of fiberoptic cables.Crimp connectors and conduct plug-in tests.Perform repetitive tasks involving small pieces throughout the workday.Essential SkillsProficiency in assembly work.Experience with hand tools.Ability to handle small pieces with precision.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectrical assembly experience is a plus.Experience with PCB or flexible circuit boards.Knowledge of blueprints, electrical wiring, and soldering.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
