**Job Title: Medical Device Assembler** **Job Description** Join our team in the manufacturing and assembly of medical devices, where you will follow specific procedures and manufacturing instructions to ensure the highest quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements. + Successfully complete training on production tasks and understand travelers/routers. + Identify materials and use microscopes, production, and inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds. + Operate tools and equipment and complete required documentation. + Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks. + Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality. + Assist Engineers in developing process documentation. + Conduct inventory counts. + Perform other duties as assigned, following verbal instructions. **Essential Skills** + Microscope assembly and inspection experience. + Medical device assembly and catheter assembly knowledge. + Strong communication skills. + Proficiency in SOP, Line Clearance, and working with adhesives. + Experience with EFD dispensers and UV curing systems. + Cleanroom and SMT machine operation experience. + Ability to rework and function as an SMT Operator. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum of 3-5 years of medical device assembly and production or small electronics experience. + Hands-on experience in a manufacturing/production environment or prototyping. + Manufacturing of catheter products is a plus. + Prior experience with microscopes and medical assembly. + Understanding and performing in-process inspections to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices. **Work Environment** The position offers shifts on either the 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm or an earlier shift from 5:50am-2:20pm, as well as options on the 2nd shift. Work will take place in a cleanroom environment with the use of safety equipment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
